Stimulation Valve
Description:

The Magnum Stimulation Valve incorporates a mechanically actuated flapper and is run with the casing string while maintaining the full bore integrity of the casing. This tool is also run with the production casing and can be positioned between perforated intervals, sliding sleeves, or slotted liners. Although a simple design, the Magnum Stimulation Valve is as strong as the production string and offers many advantages over cast iron and composite plugs.

To actuate the stimulation valve, a shifting tool on E-line or coiled tubing is used to isolate zones of interest. Then, the zones of interest can be perforated in the same run consolidating fracture stimulation, and in turn, saving you time and money.

Advantages:
  • Simple design and function
  • Allows for unlimited number of zones to complete
  • Full bore access with no restrictions
  • High temperature and pressure ratings
  • Eliminates several E-line runs
  • Eliminates cast iron or composite plugs
  • Eliminates drill out with coiled tubing motor or rig
  • Engineers and geologists plan casing details
  • Can be converted to permanent plug with cement
  • Allows faster flow back of multiple zones
  • Can be utilized as marker joints
